Trulia.com recently broke the data down to find out which cities to watch in 2018, in terms of strong job growth, high density of young households, affordability, and other key metrics. As Dallas real estate professionals, we know buying a home is the biggest investment most people ever make, so it’s vital to make sure you’re making a wise investment. Here are the cities that made the cut!
Grand Rapids, MI
El Paso, TX
San Antonio, TX
Fort Worth, TX
These cities were chosen from the 100 metro areas in the U.S. that are the most populated. With Texas taking 40% of the spots, we think there is a clear message – Texas is the place to live your life!
Of course, we’re excited that Fort Worth made the top 10 hottest real estate markets to watch in 2018! Considering its close proximity to the DFW International Airport, and the wide array of dining, entertainment, and shopping opportunities, combined with cultural amenities, Ft. Worth is home to the youngest population among all of the major metro areas in the state. Job opportunities are plentiful, with many well-known and popular employers located here, including GE Manufacturing Solutions, BNSF Railway, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, and American Airlines, to name a few.
All of the cities listed in the top 10 are great, but naturally, we’re partial to those in Texas. The DFW market, and North Texas in general, have been hot for years, and there’s no sign of slowing down!
