While the city is quite large with a population of more than 281,000, residents can enjoy quiet, serene neighborhoods and ample opportunities in terms of shopping, fine dining, culture, family activities, and much more.
Located 20 miles northeast of downtown Dallas, the majority of Plano is located in Collin County, with a small portion that extends into Denton County. CNN Money magazine selected Plano as the 11th best place to live in the U.S. in 2006, and voted best place to live in the western U.S. in 2005, 2006, and 2011. This popular city has also been rated high in terms of education opportunities in the nation, and voted safest city in American in 2010. Those who currently reside in this wonderful city have described it as upscale, safe, even “fantastic” for couples raising a family. With plenty to experience and a quick drive to the DFW airport for business or pleasure travel purposes, Plano is a city that while family-oriented, attracts many young professionals in search of a lively atmosphere. Those in search of a quiet, peaceful community will also find the various neighborhoods in the city quite diverse.
With a crime rate approximately 38% lower than the majority of other cities in Texas and median household income 30% higher than that of Denton County, Plano is the ideal location for families who desire safe surroundings, great educational opportunities, easy access to Dallas, and ample housing opportunities whether in search of a moderately-priced home, or more affluent community.

Kelly and Lindsay put our house on the market on a Friday and by Monday morning we had a FULL PRICE offer. Not only did we get offered full price but no repairs were asked for and we closed in less than a month. The Sokora team helped us not only prepare for this process but walked us through every...
Johnny did a great job as our real estate agent. He helped us find and visit many potential listings. He educated us on many facets of the home buying process particularly on the pros and cons of going with new builds, spec homes, or pre-owned including some things to look out such as a PID. He was...
This may be a good firm overall but my experience with Tyna Haygood specifically was one I regret. What she does not tell you is that once your home you are selling is under contract, she will not help you whatsoever with the purchase of your new home. She will not answer her phone and you will be left to negotiate on your own. Very unethical practices by this realtor.
Bill Nelson and his team were great to work with! I used them once before on the sale and purchase of a home 8 years ago and everything went as anticipated. When we recently decided to purchase another home, we took the time to speak with a number of different agents and finally settled on going...
First house sold in 7 hours! Already sold 2 homes with them, built 1 and bought another so a total of 4 houses. Will definitely use them in the future. They are extremely knowledgeable, able to pick up on potential issues when viewing homes, have excellent contacts for inspections, repairs, loans, and more. They work hard. Reallllly hard. All the time. And they are straight with you. No games. I highly recommend this team.
