For instance, raising the height of the curtains a few inches gives the appearance of a larger room. Open up the shades or blinds to brighten up your spaces and make them appear more open. Put out your very best hand towels, soaps, and lotions in the bathrooms. Rearrange furnishings in the living room to highlight the best features or create groupings for socializing, reading, or watching television. A little creativity is all it takes!
