It seems that Plano is the most “chill” community in Texas according to a recent report from WalletHub that ranked the city as the least-stressed in the state. In all, 182 cities in the U.S. were compared based on factors such as family, financial, health, safety and work stressors. With no. 1 being the most stressed city of those compared in the survey, Plano came in at a no-stress no. 171. Pretty chill!
Just this spring Plano was named one of the happiest places in the nation; it also has one of the lowest separation and divorce rates. As one of the most popular Dallas suburbs, looks like there’s plenty of reason to call Plano home.
Where did other Texas cities rank on the least-stressed list? While Austin seems pretty laid back at no. 142, Fort Worth isn’t too keyed up at no. 83. Arlington finished in the no. 69 spot while Dallas made no. 36 on the list. Which U.S. city is the most stressed-out of all? According to the report, the winner is Detroit. This is a competition you don’t want to win!
