According to a survey taken by Trulia.com, it seems that there are a few wills, won’ts, and worries buyers have in common when in the market for a new home. As trusted Flower Mound real estate agents, we found this information very interesting – and thought some of the points may help take some of the stress out of buying your dream North Texas home.

Here are a few of the most common worries, won’ts, and will’s among home buyers:

You won’t be able to find a home you like, which worries you. Some people are persnickety, but others have a legitimate concern. Some buyers are genuinely concerned that they won’t be able to find a home they will fall in love with within their price range. To combat these fears, be aggressive in your home buying efforts. Make reality-based offers, be aggressive about being shown properties within your price range as soon as they hit the market, and work with a trusted Dallas area agent who gives you sound guidance in regards to offer pricing.

You will be aggressive. Sometimes it can make a buyer feel out of control when others feel that their “ideal” home is also the ideal home in the mind of other potential buyers. The survey found that only 9% of potential buyers would bid up to 10% over the seller’s asking price for a home or property.     Andra and Bill Nelson, no relation-just coincidence, are an incredible real estate team! They are honest and extremely patient when guiding you during your home search.
