November 2013 Dallas Events And Activities

Folks living in the Flower Mound, Highland Village, Frisco, and surrounding communities will be happy to know there’s plenty going on this holiday season in Dallas! If you’re new to the area or just curious about what there is to do in the metro area, we’ve gathered together a little information for you so you won’t miss out on the fun.

Here’s a list of some of the November 2013 Dallas events going on:

Highland Park Centennial Landmarking Ceremony. Held on Sunday November 10, this event is presented by the Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society. Some of the locations where you can attend the ceremony include Highland Park Village and the Dallas Country Club.

Passionate about art? You won’t want to miss the LATE NIGHTS! At the Dallas Museum of Art on November 15. Free admission, browse the exhibitions from 7 p.m. ’til midnight.

Time to get the kiddies’ pictures taken with Santa! From Saturday November 23 and on, Santa will be available for photo sessions at the North Park Mall. Bring your own camera to capture the magic. If you prefer a professional portrait, Marc Robins Photography will be on hand.

A holiday season tradition – The Nutcracker Ballet. Held at the AT&T Performing Arts Center – Winspear Opera House in Dallas on November 30, the ballet begins at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $75, and you can be sure the whole family will enjoy this delightful production!

Ongoing events through November include the Autumn Festival at the Arboretum, the Chinese Lantern Festival, The Merchant of Venice: An Unabridged Staged Reading, and the Art Lab at The Perot Museum, where your little ones can engage in hands-on projects and explore creativity and science.

As Flower Mound real estate agents highly familiar with the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro area and all of the goings-on, we recommend you do not miss out on the Autumn Festival at the Arboretum! More pumpkins, squash, and gourds than you could ever imagine in one place – and the “storybook” pumpkin village is nationally acclaimed. The youngsters will have a great time going through the hay bale maze and participating in the great pumpkin search.
